"The classic Brave Sword feel, tuned for control and quick hands."

The Brave Sword 12 Pro (BRS-12 PRO) keeps what made the Brave Sword 12 a long-running favourite: an even balance, a medium-flex shaft and Victor's diamond-shaped SWORD frame that moves through the air quickly. The frame and shaft use High Resilience Modulus Graphite with Nano Resin, and the handle uses Victor's FREE CORE design. Nothing about it is extreme — and that is the point.

Its strengths are control, net touch and defence. The even balance resets quickly between shots, and the medium flex helps with timing on lifts, blocks and clears. The honest limitation is smashing: with no head weight and no stiff shaft to drive it, smashes are accurate but not heavy. For Indian advanced club players who play both singles and doubles and want placement over raw power, the Brave Sword 12 Pro is excellent at its GOS price point.

What is the
Brave Sword 12 Pro?

01 / 08

The Victor Brave Sword 12 Pro (style code BRS-12 PRO) is the current version of the Brave Sword 12, one of Victor's best-known all-round rackets. It is a 4U / G5 frame with an even balance and a medium-flex shaft, built for players who control rallies rather than overpower them.

Where Victor's Thruster rackets lean on head weight for attack and the DriveX 12 uses a stiff shaft for steep, aggressive pushes, the Brave Sword 12 Pro stays neutral: quick to reset, easy to time and comfortable in both singles and doubles.

The Brave Sword 12 Pro's defining design is the diamond-shaped SWORD frame. Its sharp cross-section moves through the air with less resistance than a rounded frame, so an even-balanced racket feels faster than its weight suggests — speed of handling without giving up stability.

Zone-by-zone assessment

Zone Rating Performance Assessment
Control 92 Exceptional The racket's identity. Even balance and a medium shaft make placement easy to repeat — drops, pushes and lifts go where they are aimed without needing a perfect swing.
Net play 91 Exceptional Light, precise touch at the net. The balance never fights you at close range, so tight net shots and net kills are easy to control and disguise.
Defence 90 Exceptional The racket resets to a ready position quickly after a block. The medium flex helps lifts and clears reach depth from a defensive position.
Maneuverability 88 Exceptional The diamond SWORD frame moves through the air quickly, so the racket feels faster than its even balance suggests in mid-court exchanges.
Flat drives 86 Exceptional Controlled and consistent in drive exchanges. Drives stay on line, though they carry less sting than a stiff, head-heavy frame.
Smashes 78 Good Honest limitation. With no head weight and no stiff shaft behind it, smashes are well placed but not heavy. Players who win points from the rear court will want more power.

Real on-court situations

Situation Level What the player feels
Tight net shot or net dribble Exceptional Soft, precise touch with a balance that does not fight you. Easy to keep the shuttle close to the tape.
Block against a steep smash Exceptional Quick to reset and stable on contact. Blocks drop short and stay on line.
Lift to the baseline under pressure Exceptional The medium flex helps the shuttle reach depth even from a compact, rushed swing.
Straight drop from the rear court Exceptional Precise landing spot and easy to disguise. One of the racket's best attacking shots.
Flat drive exchange in doubles Exceptional Fast and controllable. The racket keeps up, though drives carry less pace than with a stiffer frame.
Deep singles clear Good Reaches the baseline with a full swing. Comfortable, but the even balance gives no extra weight behind it.
Full rear-court jump smash Good Well placed but not heavy. Players who rely on outright smash power will feel the limit here.
