Nassau County Cricket Stadium Ready for T20 World Cup 2024

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York is nearing completion ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The stadium’s four drop-in pitches, cultivated with native Tahoma 31 Bermuda grass, have been installed, while the north and south premium hospitality and media pavilions are on track for imminent completion.

Additional tickets for all matches at the stadium, including the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan clash, will be available through hospitality packages that include food and beverages. Fans can secure their place in history by purchasing tickets on the official T20 World Cup website.

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium will host its inaugural match on June 3, when Sri Lanka faces South Africa in their opening Group D encounter. The 34,000-capacity stadium will also witness the much-awaited clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on June 9.

Anticipation for the T20 World Cup continues to soar, fueled by the release of the official anthem, “Out of this World,” performed by Grammy award-winning artist Sean Paul and Soca superstar Kes. The anthem has captured the excitement and global reach of the tournament.

Rublev’s determination was on full display in Madrid, where he battled through physical discomfort and illness to reach the final. He credits the support of the medical staff in Madrid for helping him overcome these challenges.

“I’m grateful to the doctors in Madrid,” Rublev said. “They helped me a lot. I had a problem with my toe, and then I had a problem with my throat. They helped me to recover and to play.”

As Rublev prepares for the upcoming Internazionali BNL d’Italia, he remains focused on finding the right balance between his emotions and his performance. He believes that harnessing his emotions in a positive way will allow him to reach even greater heights in the sport.

“Those little moments when I was putting them in the right direction, it was amazing,” Rublev said. “You feel like you’re just playing amazing and everything is working.”
