Adidas Metalbone LP Team — The Customisable All-Court Paddle
The
Adidas Metalbone LP Team is defined by one feature that no other paddle at GOS offers: a
four-screw adjustable weight and balance system. Two weight plates sit inside the frame, each mountable with washers and screws — a total adjustment range of up to 11.2g. Shift the weights high in the frame and the balance point moves toward the head, adding smash power and overhead authority. Move them low and the balance shifts toward the grip, producing faster hand speed and better dink control at the kitchen. Remove the plates entirely for the lightest, most maneuverable configuration. An Allen key is included. Most paddles fix your balance at the factory — the LP Team lets you choose it yourself, every session.
Beyond the weight system: a
16mm LP polypropylene honeycomb core for meaningful dwell time and a forgiving sweet spot, a
raw carbon fiber face coated with Spin Blade Max for aggressive ball grip and spin generation on drives and kitchen shots, and a continuous
monocoque carbon frame from handle base to paddle edges that prevents twisting on off-centre hits. The
5.5-inch Power Extra Grip handle accommodates two-handed backhands. USAPA approved.

Adidas Metalbone 2025 — Carbon-Titanium Speed
The
Adidas Metalbone 2025 is built around a different engineering philosophy: speed and spin over customisability. The face uses a
carbon-titanium hybrid construction — titanium is infused into the carbon fiber weave, creating a titanium spin grid that grips the ball more aggressively than standard carbon at contact points. The result is amplified topspin on drives and serves, and a distinctive puck-like ball grip that generates more spin variation on kitchen shots. The
14.5mm thin core reduces dwell time compared to the LP Team — the ball exits the face faster, producing an explosive pop on drives and punch volleys. Combined with a lighter swing weight, the Metalbone 2025 is the speed-first Adidas paddle: faster swing, faster ball exit, more spin on attack.
