Kyle Philip, United States of America’s pace express has been suspended from bowling in international cricket with immediate effect. The match officials found his bowling action illegal after USA’s World Cup Qualifier game against West Indies was completed.
Having reviewed footage of Phillip’s action, the event panel concluded it was illegal, and suspended him in accordance with Article 6.7 of the ICC’s regulations for the review of suspect bowling actions. Phillip’s suspension will remain in place until he submits to a reassessment of his action and gets it cleared.

Kyle Philips, who is one of the USA’s vital players returned with figures of 3 for 56 in USA’s defeat against West Indies. Philip also played in the USA’s next game against Nepal but did not feature in the game against the Netherlands.
