Manchester United Dressing Room Bugged in Aston Villa Draw

Manchester United’s dismal start to the season took another turn for the worse as they were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw by Aston Villa in the Premier League. However, the match was overshadowed by a bizarre incident involving a hidden recording device found in the United dressing room.

According to The Sun, a mobile phone was planted in the dressing room at Villa Park, allowing someone to eavesdrop on Erik ten Hag’s team talk. The device was reportedly activated when a call was received, and the perpetrator is believed to have returned to the stadium to retrieve it.

An unnamed source told The Sun: “This is a shocking breach of security and some serious questions will be asked as to how this was allowed to happen. Fortunately, there was nothing sinister to this incident. It was just a prankster, who’s actually a United fan, being silly and wanting to hear what was said inside those four walls.”

The incident has raised concerns about security at one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, especially with the match taking place just days before a crucial European fixture. Ten Hag, who is under increasing pressure due to United’s poor results, expressed his frustration after the draw.

“We are all on board together, on one page, we know what we are working through it’s a long-term process,” said Ten Hag. “We have come through two very tough away games (including Thursday’s 3-3 Europa League draw at Porto).”

Despite the disappointing result, Ten Hag praised his players’ effort and determination. “This is a team, we showed the belief and faith we have,” he added.

United’s injury woes continue to hamper their progress, with striker Rasmus Hojlund still not fully fit. However, Ten Hag was impressed by the performances of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Antony.
