This performance broke Pandya’s own record of a 2/11 in four overs spell against Punjab Kings in 2022. Mark Wood, the English fast bowler, also holds a record for a four-over spell of 5/14 against Delhi Capitals last year.

Krunal Pandya has a remarkable record against Gujarat Titans, having taken six wickets in five matches at an average of 17.66 and an economy rate of 5.3. He has also scored 51 runs in five innings against GT, with a best score of 23*.

The Pandya brothers continue to make their mark in the IPL, showcasing their talent and determination. Their contributions to their respective teams and the league as a whole have earned them widespread recognition and admiration.

“I think we need to move away from the idea of having a fixed top three or four batters,” Manjrekar said. “We need to have players who can bat anywhere in the order and contribute with both bat and ball.”

Indian cricketers Hardik and Krunal Pandya’s stepbrother, Vaibhav Pandya, has been arrested by the Mumbai Police for allegedly defrauding them of approximately Rs 4.3 crore. The arrest stems from a complaint filed by Hardik Pandya, who accused Vaibhav of diverting funds from a partnership firm they had established in 2021.

According to the agreement, Hardik and Krunal were to receive 40% each of the profits, while Vaibhav was entitled to 20%. However, instead of sharing the profits, Vaibhav allegedly formed a separate company and transferred the funds into it.

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police charged Vaibhav with cheating and forgery. The arrest comes amid Hardik’s recent appointment as captain of the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
