Coco Gauff, the 20-year-old tennis sensation, continues to make waves both on and off the court. Recently, she was recognized as the most marketable tennis player in the world by SportsPro and has now been mentioned in a song by renowned rapper Tyler, The Creator.

In the build-up to his upcoming album release, Tyler, The Creator dropped a new single titled “Thought I Was Dead,” which features the lyrics “B-tch, you ain’t Coco Gauff, you can’t serve me.” Gauff expressed her excitement on social media, stating, “Absolutely insane… Thank you!”

While Gauff’s serve has been a topic of discussion, she remains optimistic about improving it. She recently added Matt Daly to her coaching team to address the issue. In her last match at the Wuhan Open, she served 21 double faults, prompting empathy from her opponent, Aryna Sabalenka.

“There are moments where you just want to leave the court,” Gauff admitted. “But I didn’t want to go into that mentality. I know she (Sabalenka) had a similar issue, so it gives me confidence.”

Despite the challenges, Gauff is confident in her ability to improve her serve. “I found the solution, I just didn’t have time to work on it,” she said.

As Gauff prepares for the WTA Finals Riyadh, fans can anticipate her continued growth and the release of Tyler, The Creator’s new album, “Chromakopia,” on October 28.

“Love you Billie!!!!!!” she exclaimed, showcasing her unwavering admiration for the band. Williams has long been a vocal fan of Green Day, declaring them her all-time favorite musical group. Last year, she showcased her knowledge of their hits in a TikTok challenge, effortlessly naming song after song.

In February, Williams had the honor of introducing Green Day at Clive Davis’ exclusive pre-Grammys party at the Beverly Hilton. Armstrong personally invited her, recognizing her deep connection to their music. “Truly, to know me is to know my love for them,” Williams said in her opening speech.

Williams’ first encounter with the band occurred on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, where they were both guests. She credits Kimmel for facilitating this memorable meeting. Armstrong, in turn, has expressed his admiration for Williams, describing her as the “sweetest person.”

“We would run into her in different countries in Europe because she was kicking everybody’s ass in that particular country,” Armstrong recalled. “She would then come to the show and … well, I think she would literally try to see how fast she could beat her opponent so she could actually come to the gig.”

Williams’ passion for Green Day extends beyond attending their concerts. She has also been known to incorporate their music into her training regimen, finding inspiration in their energetic and uplifting songs.

Karthik expressed his fascination with Rahman’s creative process and his ability to consistently produce exceptional music for nearly three decades. “I would love to go into his brain and see what keeps him ticking,” he said.

However, Karthik acknowledged that it would be a challenge for him to spend sleepless nights creating new music compositions, as Rahman is known to do. “I have heard he works a lot through the night. That will be a challenge, but I still won’t mind getting into his brain,” he said with a smile.

Karthik announced his retirement from cricket in June 2023 after a successful career that spanned 26 Tests, 94 ODIs, and 60 T20Is for India. He is now actively involved as a commentator and expert, sharing his insights on the game.

“I feel like the words are so complicated that she focused more on that than the music itself,” Swiatek said. “It’s less poppy. There’s not much beat or whatever.”

Despite her preference for the dreamlike production of Swift’s previous albums, “Folklore” and “Evermore,” Swiatek still appreciates the different vibe of TTPD.

“I love music. It’s my second passion after tennis,” he said. “It’s nice to think about something else and not tennis. That’s why I play guitar.”

Humbert’s musical talents have also found expression on social media, where he has shared clips of his guitar skills. He enjoys playing a variety of genres, including rock and roll and French songs.

As the 2024 season progresses, Humbert has set his sights on qualifying for the ATP Finals in Turin. With his current form and the support of his team, he is confident in his ability to achieve his goals.

“I have big goals for this year,” he said. “I will try to do it.”
