This year’s tournament promises to showcase top tennis talent, with Indian star Sumit Nagal, French sensation Hugo Gaston, and Polish ace Magda Linette headlining the roster of elite players set to compete at the historic Cricket Club of India (CCI).
With TPL’s unique and entertaining 25-point format, tennis enthusiasts can expect thrilling matches that encompass men’s singles, women’s singles, mixed doubles, and men’s doubles. Each match between the franchises will total 100 points, with 25 points awarded per category, ensuring every point counts towards the teams’ performance in the league. Each team will play five matches in the league stage, with the top four advancing to the semi-finals, intensifying the battle for supremacy.
Kunal Thakkur, Co-Founder of TPL, expressed enthusiasm for the tournament’s new venue, stating, “Mumbai is the city of dreams and we are excited to bring top-notch tennis back to the city. The tennis courts at CCI have seen some of the most intense matches in history”.
