Victor Badminton Strings — Complete Range
Victor VBS 66 Nano — Premium Repulsion and Control
The Victor VBS 66 Nano is Victor’s flagship badminton string — 0.66mm gauge, made in Japan, engineered for exceptional repulsion and control. The thin gauge creates a larger string bed deformation at contact, allowing the string to grip the shuttle more effectively for better spin and placement on drops, net shots, and drives. High resilience means the string snaps back quickly after contact, generating the fast, crisp repulsion that advanced players rely on in rapid exchanges. Japan-made quality ensures consistent gauge and tension retention across the string lifetime.
Best for: Intermediate to advanced players, fast exchanges, control-first play
Gauge: 0.66mm | Origin: Japan | Character: High repulsion, excellent control
Victor VBS 63 — Power and Durability
The Victor VBS 63 is designed for maximum durability and power — a 0.63mm gauge string engineered for serious players who hit hard and want a string that maintains performance under sustained pressure. The medium feel and high resilience allow for precise shots with longer-lasting tension retention. Suited for players who break strings regularly or who want a resilient string for intensive training environments.
Best for: Advanced players, hard hitters, players who prioritise durability
Gauge: 0.63mm | Character: Durability and power, high resilience

Stringing Tips for Indian Conditions
- Tension range: Victor VBS 66 Nano at 24–28 lbs for most Indian club players. Beginners: 22–24 lbs. Advanced: 26–29 lbs
- Heat adjustment: In Indian summer, string 1–2 lbs lower than your standard tension. High ambient temperatures cause string tension to rise slightly after stringing
- Restringing frequency: Industry guideline — restring as many times per year as you play per week. Twice per week = restring twice per year minimum. Advanced players who generate significant power may restring more often as VBS 66 Nano does not have the tension retention of thicker strings
- Victor rackets: Victor VBS strings pair naturally with Victor rackets — if you play Victor, using VBS strings ensures the string specification is aligned with the racket’s designed playing feel
