Yonex Badminton Grips India
The Yonex AC102 EX Super Grap is the world’s best-selling overgrip — first launched in 1987 and continuously refined across nearly four decades. Enough units have been sold to wrap around the Earth four times. The Super Grap’s dominance in the overgrip market is not heritage inertia — it is the ongoing result of a product that works: tackiness that holds during extended sessions, sweat absorption that maintains grip security as intensity increases, and durability that keeps it performing longer than competing overgrips.
The AC102 EX works on badminton, tennis, padel, and squash rackets — it is genuinely universal. At God of Sports, we stock it in all seven colourways. Dispatched from Mumbai, pan-India delivery in 3–5 business days.

How to Apply a Badminton Overgrip
- Remove your old overgrip completely
- Start at the base of the handle just above the butt cap, at approximately 45°
- Wrap upward in overlapping layers toward the throat — each layer overlapping the previous by 2–3mm
- Pull slightly taut as you wrap to maintain even tension
- Finish at the shoulder of the handle and secure with the finishing tape provided
Indian conditions tip: Apply at room temperature. In peak summer heat or high humidity, ensure your hands and the grip surface are dry before application for the best adhesive bond.
When to Replace Your Overgrip
Replace when you notice any of the following:
- The surface feels smooth rather than tacky during play
- Your hand slips during smashes or drives
- The grip has visibly darkened or discoloured from sweat absorption
- The outer surface has begun to peel or crack
In Indian summer conditions (March–June), replace every 3–5 sessions. In cooler or air-conditioned conditions, every 5–8 sessions. Stock 3–4 overgrips at home so you can replace between sessions without waiting for delivery.
