Samson emphasized the unpredictable nature of the IPL, recalling how the Royals won five out of six matches last season but still failed to qualify. “It’s crucial to stay humble and focus on the present,” he added.
The Royals have a strong record against CSK, having won six of their last seven encounters, including the last four. Ravichandran Ashwin was the standout performer in last year’s match at Chepauk, where the Royals emerged victorious by a narrow three-run margin.
