Kohli, who stepped down as RCB captain after the 2021 season, has been in impressive form this season. He is currently No. 2 in the list of run-getters with 500 runs in 10 matches, behind Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, who has scored 509 runs in 10 matches.
