“I can’t believe that I’ve won my first title,” said Prannoy. “The past seven years have been full of ups and downs for me. But I’ve always trusted the process and my results improved last year, and I regained my confidence” he added.

With this win, World No. 9 Prannoy became the first Indian to capture the men’s singles title in the prestigious badminton tournament.

52 days. Over 70 games. And we have our two finalists. 4-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings and 2022 IPL champs Gujarat Titans. The two in-form teams will be squaring off against each other at the IPL 2023 Final to be played tomorrow at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Although the two teams have clashed thrice this season, with Chennai having the upper hand. It won’t matter much for both teams as they would like to erase the past and focus on the final and most important game of the season.

Chennai Super Kings, who have made it a habit to qualify for the finals of the Indian Premier League; reached their 10th final under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The Chennai-based franchise is in top form; both batting and bowling. Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad are in tremendous form. While Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube are providing the late impetus required to finish the innings with a flourish. In the bowling department, Tushar Deshpande has been a revelation. He is the top wicket-taker for the side, with 21 scalps in just 15 games. Ravindra Jadeja and Matheesha Pathirana have also contributed a lot to the bowling department. Overall, Chennai Super Kings looks like a formidable side that is raring to lift their 5th IPL trophy.

SS Ton Cricket Bat

Making them stop will be the duty of Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans job. The side that lost Qualifier 1 came back strongly to defeat the Mumbai Indians in the Qualifier 2 to reach the second consecutive IPL final. The team has all the bases covered. While bowling looks like their strongest suit, their batting has been single-handedly been taken care of by Team India’s new batting sensation Shubman Gill. The right-hander has amassed 851 runs in 16 innings at an astonishing average of 60.79. In the bowling department, the team will be relying on Purple Cap holder Mohammad Shami, second-placed Rashid Khan and veteran bowler Mohit Sharma.

Both teams will be ready to face off once more and lift the trophy for their team. But who will it be? Will Chennai become champion for the 5th time? Or will Gujarat be able to defend its crown? Comment your answers in the comment box below.

Rishabh Pant’s agility, speed, and unorthodox batting make him a perfect match for Spider-Man. He can bat according to the situation and has the ability to surprise the bowlers with his unorthodox shots, just like Spider-Man surprises his enemies with his agility and quick reflexes.

Rohit Sharma as Thor

IPL Qualifier 2 GT vs MI: Expected lineups, Match Timings, Venue and Dream11 Predictions

Two strong teams will be going head-to-head in the IPL 2023 Qualifier 2. Defending champions Gujarat Titans, who are coming on the back of a defeat to Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1 will be clashing against 5-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians. The Men in Blue and Gold have qualified for the match after defeating Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator match played yesterday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Mumbai Indians will be coming into the match with a lot of confidence. After outsmarting the Lucknow-based franchisee in both departments, Mumbai will be looking to do the same against Gujarat Titans. Their batting looks the strongest with Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Cameron Green, Tilak Varma, Nehal Wadhera, and Tim David all firing on all cylinders.

Their bowling looks a bit bleak. However, Akash Madhwal’s meteoric rise has given a new lease of life to Mumbai Indians’ pace department. They also have bankable stars like Piyush Chawla, who is having a phenomenal season, and Jason Behrendorff. The Mumbai-based franchise has peaked at the right time and seems unbeatable in its current form.

SS Ton Cricket Bat

Gujarat Titans are the defending champions. And they have proved why they are so. The Hardik Pandya-led side has repeated last season’s feat by topping the Indian Premier League table. However, they lost their track a bit after facing a massive defeat by Chennai Super Kings in the first Qualifier.

But not to worry. The team will bounce back and give a tough fight to Mumbai Indians. Their star batter Shubman Gill is at an all-time high, while their bowlers are backing the batters with some sharp and intelligent bowling. Team India pacer Mohammad Shami leads the charts for Purple Cap. The right-arm pacer has taken 26 wickets in 15 matches. The second position is occupied by his teammate Rashid Khan with 25 picks from 15 matches.

The IPL 2023 Qualifier 2 will be a mouth-watering clash as both teams will be raring to go at each other. Want to know what will be the expected lineups, match timings, venue, pitch report, and Dream11 prediction? Read this article till the end.

Madhwal’s deadly bowling powers Mumbai Indians to IPL Qualifier 2

Mumbai Indians have won yet another IPL playoffs match. After qualifying for the knockout stages on the last day, Mumbai Indians have made sure they show what their favourite team is capable of doing. The Men in Blue and Gold defeated Lucknow Super Giants by a massive margin of 81 runs in the Eliminator to qualify for the next stage.

SS Ton Cricket Bat

Electing to bat first, Mumbai had a bad start; losing both the openers in the powerplay. However, World Number 1 T20 batter Suryakumar Yadav and Cameron Green stitched together a wonderful partnership to steady their ship. But, the ship sunk as Afghanistan’s Naveen-ul-Haq dismissed both set batters in one over.

Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera then took over the scoring duties and ensured the team gets to a par score. With some intelligent batting, Mumbai Indians reached 182/8 in their 20 overs.

Lucknow never seemed to be in the chase. Mumbai Indians find Akash Madhwal dismantled their batting lineup. The Uttarakhand-based bowler took 5 wickets for just 5 runs. In the process, Madhwal registered the best figures in the IPL playoffs. Also, he registered the joint-first most economical five-for in the Indian Premier League.

With this win, Mumbai Indians will be facing the Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 2. The two teams will be facing each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on 26th May.

Mohit Sharma and Mohammad Shami were the picks for the Ahmedabad-based franchisee as both the quicks picked two wickets apiece.

Gujarat Titans who are unbeatable while chasing had a very poor start. The 2022 IPL champions lost two wickets for just 40 runs within the powerplay. While the 5-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians will be looking to add one more trophy to their cabinet. Lucknow Super Giants will be trying to carve their name into IPL history.

Lucknow Super Giants has an upper hand over Mumbai Indians as the team has defeated the Mumbai-based on all three occasions when the two teams have clashed with each other. However, Mumbai Indians will be looking to forget the past and think of this match as a new opportunity.

Fellow batters Ishan Kishan, Cameron Green, Nehal Wadhera, and Tilak Varma have also fired whenever an opportunity was presented. However, their bowling lacks the punch. Mumbai are dearly missing the services of their star bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer. But Piyush Chawla, one of the most inexperienced IPL spinners has come to party as the leg-spinner has taken 20 wickets from 14 games.

For Lucknow Super Giants, there have been different match winners for every match. Although they will miss the services of regular skipper KL Rahul, the team has seen different match winners in different matches. From Marcus Stoinis to Kyle Mayers to Nicholas Pooran, the Lucknow-based franchisee has seen players take responsibility and win matches. Juventus docked 10 vital points for reasons pertaining to financial breach

Serie A giants Juventus have been slapped with a 10-point penalty following an Italian court’s order for false accounting in the club’s transfer dealings. The 10 points deduction dropped Juventus from second to seventh position in the Serie A table.

Following the announcement, Juventus in a statement said, “What was established by the fifth instance of judgment in this matter, which began more than a year ago, arouses great bitterness in the club and in its millions of supporters who, in the absence of clear rules, find themselves extremely penalized with the application of sanctions that do not seem to take into account the principle of proportionality.”

The club further added, “While not ignoring the need for urgency, which Juventus has never shied away from during the proceedings, it is emphasized that these are facts that still have to be evaluated by a judge.”

The Massimiliano Allegri-led side was handed a 15-point penalty in January while several members of Juventus’ former board were also given bans from soccer activities, including former president Andrea Agnelli. However, the decision was reversed on an appeal to the country’s highest sports court within the Italian Olympic Committee, and referred back to the soccer federation’s appeals court for a new trial.

The fresh trial happened yesterday as federation prosecutor Giuseppe Chine requested an 11-point penalty for Juventus. Chine also requested eight-month bans for seven former Juventus directors, including Pavel Nedvěd, but they were cleared.

The decision had an irreversible impact on the Bianconeri as the club lost 4-1 against Empoli, a club that is placed 14th on the points table. Juventus are currently placed seventh in the Serie A table. The club has 59 points from 36 games and is currently out of contention for the Champions League.
