Adidas Padel Racquets India — The 2026 Metalbone Range
Adidas’s Metalbone is one of the most respected padel racquet families in the world — Ale Galán, one of the top-ranked padel players on the Premier Padel Tour, plays the Metalbone 3.5 in competition. The 2026 generation is the most comprehensive Metalbone lineup ever produced: six models spanning from the professional HRD+ 3.5 (the hardest, most demanding padel racquet in the Adidas catalogue) to the Superlight 2026 (the most arm-friendly and beginner-accessible). The 3.4 generation remains stocked for players seeking previous-generation value.
At God of Sports, we are India’s largest dedicated racquet sports store and an authorised Adidas padel dealer. Every racquet is 100% authentic, sourced directly from Adidas — not grey-market imports. We have hosted GOS Open padel tournaments across India, supplied equipment for competitive play, and personally guided hundreds of Indian players to the right racquet. Dispatched from Mumbai with pan-India delivery and Pay on Delivery. Contact us via WhatsApp for guidance before buying.
Most Indian padel courts use artificial grass (AG) surface — the Metalbone range’s Spin Blade Gritt and Low Poly technologies are specifically suited to Indian AG court play. The higher, consistent AG bounce makes loading overheads on diamond-shaped racquets easier than on European sand-injected courts.

2026 Metalbone — Each Model in Detail
Metalbone HRD+ 3.5 — Maximum Power, Most Demanding
The HRD+ 3.5 is the hardest racquet in the entire 2026 Metalbone range. High Memory EVA Core (red cap) — a high-density rubber that deforms significantly less on impact than the Soft Performance EVA used in every other Metalbone model, transferring virtually all swing energy directly to the ball. Same 16K Aluminized Carbon face, same diamond shape, same Weight and Balance System as the Metalbone 3.5. The only difference is the core — and that difference defines everything. For professional and high-level advanced players who play left side with fully developed offensive technique.
On Indian AG courts, the HRD+ actually performs particularly well — the higher, consistent AG bounce loads the stiff core predictably on overheads, producing smashes that land fast and stay low. Keep a spare overgrip on Indian courts in summer — the stiff core amplifies any grip instability.
Best for: Professional and high-level advanced left-side attackers | Not for: Anyone with arm sensitivity, beginners, defensive specialists
Metalbone 3.5 — Ale Galán’s Competition Weapon
The Metalbone 3.5 is Ale Galán’s racquet and the flagship of the 2026 Metalbone line. Carbon Aluminized 16K face — 16,000 filaments per tow, aluminized for additional rigidity, the stiffest and most explosive face in the Metalbone range. Diamond shape, deeply head-heavy balance. The Weight and Balance System (two plates, up to 11.2g total adjustment, Allen key included) lets players shift balance from power (weights high) to control (weights low). Soft Performance EVA core for comfortable power delivery compared to the HRD+.
Best for: Advanced/professional left-side players, smash and vibora dominance, 2+ years padel experience
Metalbone Carbon 2026 — 6K Touch + Power
The Metalbone Carbon 2026 bridges the gap between the demanding 16K models and the accessible fiberglass Team — a 6K Aluminized Carbon face that is meaningfully less rigid than 16K, creating more touch, feel, and feedback on every shot. Advanced players who find the Metalbone 3.5’s 16K face too stiff, or who play both attack and defense and want more ball feedback, will find the Carbon 2026 more natural. The carbon is still Aluminized — meaningfully stiffer than the Carbon 3.4’s uncoated 6K. An excellent choice for Indian club-level tournament players at advanced level.
Best for: Advanced players who want diamond offensive power with tactile feel, players who find 16K too demanding
Metalbone Team 2026 — Intermediate Diamond
The Metalbone Team 2026 is the best attacking racquet for intermediate and advancing players in India — diamond shape, head-heavy balance, Metalbone frame technologies, but with a fiberglass face that is significantly more forgiving than carbon. Fiberglass provides a livelier, more springy ball exit that generates power without requiring perfect technique. Excellent for Indian players transitioning from tennis who are used to the swing pattern of a diamond shape but want margin for developing padel-specific timing.
Best for: Intermediate-to-advancing players, left-side development, tennis-to-padel transition, 2–3 sessions per week
Metalbone Team Light 2026 — Round, Defensive, Arm-Friendly
The Metalbone Team Light 2026 takes a fundamentally different philosophy from the diamond Team models — round shape, neutral balance, reduced weight, fiberglass face. Designed for right-side defensive play: the round shape places the sweet spot in the centre of the face for the most forgiving and intuitive control-oriented play. Fast handling for defensive exchanges, comfortable lobs from deep positions, quick net transitions. The most arm-friendly racquet in the 2026 range. Particularly well-suited to women entering competitive padel and players with any elbow or shoulder sensitivity.
Best for: Right-side defensive players, women players, players with arm sensitivity, intermediate all-court control
Metalbone Superlight 2026 — Beginner Entry
The Metalbone Superlight 2026 is new to the 2026 range — and the most accessible padel racquet Adidas has ever made. At 310–330g it is one of the lightest padel racquets from any serious brand. Round oversize head for the most generous sweet spot in the Metalbone family. Fiberglass face, Soft EVA core. Designed specifically for complete beginners, younger players, women starting their padel journey, and recreational players who want easy, enjoyable play. When technique is developing, the Superlight’s ultra-light weight makes the game immediately more accessible and fun.
Best for: Complete beginners, first padel racquet, younger players, recreational players of any level with arm sensitivity
